You are great at what you do, but is your website holding you back?

Raise your hand if this sounds like you:

  • You tried creating your own website, but it’s driving you to drink and curse, and then drink some more.

  • You want to stand out but, you’re using the same website theme that a GAZILLION other people in your industry are using.

  • You know you should be “branding yourself”  but what is that, really? If it involves hot pokers and your skin, you are out.

*Swoops in wearing cape*
That’s where I come in. I’m Trinidad Pena, design superhero. At. Your. Service.

I’m here to help you kick your eLife up a notch — or eighteen — whatever floats your boat. I create completely custom brands and websites that you can afford + we are gonna have a lotta fun while doing it.

Since jumping head first into the world of graphic design over 15 years ago, I’ve won several awards including 4 coveted Graphic Design USA awards. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with all kinds of clients. Big budgets, small budgets. Huge corporations, one-woman shows. I am now crystal clear that my true story is about serving small business owners like YOU who feel as passionately about their work as I do. It’s the icing on my proverbial cake.

Trinidad PenaOnce upon a time…

I was the kindergartner with stand-out coloring skills. As a teen, I was an arts-and-crafts force to be reckoned with. Later, I thought about becoming a painter but that just didn’t satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit. None the less, I hightailed it to art school and there I found my true love — design.

Design is my sweet spot, the unconditional love in my life. It’s not simply about how things look (although a little eye candy is never a bad thing), but about the feelings they evoke. It’s visual storytelling. Now, I get to do it for the coolest people on earth — fellow entrepreneurs and bloggers! People who understand the beauty of having a dream and building something from scratch. My tribe.

I’ve distilled my process to get to the heart of who my clients are. I create branding that showcases their unique awesomeness + makes them look and feel like the professionals they really are.

I believe that doing what you love, with people that “get” you, while making a good living is the ultimate dream. And it’s completely attainable. This is my calling and I’m thrilled to be here.

I can be found on FacebookTwitterGoogle+Pinterest and Instagram.

[Frequently asked questions]

I really want to bring capes back into fashion. Is it working?
Nope, Trinidad means “trinity” in Spanish. I hail from the Garden State of New Jersey. Yes, I have big hair. And, of course I love Bon Jovi.
Curlies unite! People often ask what products I use in my hair. The answer is Wonder Curl. I swear by it. Specifically, I use the gelly and the pudding when my hair is wet. I use the smoothie to on next day frizz. I use the pomade to make my hair super shiny + it smells amazing.
Ok, why not. Somehow when I was 10 years old, I convinced myself that I looked better with raised eyebrows. So, I have a year’s worth of childhood photos with a constant look of surprise. My mom loves to bust out those photos.
Oh yeah! I’m a total foodie. You can check me out over at The Budget Socialite where I share my recipes monthly.

Giving Back

I’m an entrepreneur and a feminist. These things rock my world, so I give back to organizations that support causes near and dear to my heart. This superhero doesn’t fight crime (Hey, I bruise easily!) but I do try to change the world for good in what small ways I can.

THE GIRL EFFECT is a movement. It’s about leveraging the unique potential of adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves, their families, their communities, their countries and the world. It’s about making girls visible and changing their social and economic dynamics by providing them with specific, powerful and relevant resources.

I AM THAT GIRL is a global community, a support system, and a movement of girls (ages 8-108) turning self-doubt into self-love. Over the past five years they have connected with hundreds of thousands of girls, telling them how the I AM THAT GIRL community has turned their stories of struggle and adversity into stories of triumph, connectedness and empowerment.
